Meet Flora
Flora is SUCH a good name for this sweet, gentle boxer blend since she's BLOSSOMED since she left the shelter!
Though she'd been found as a stray, it was clear that Flora had been someone's dog. She was clean and well cared-for. But the shelter is no place for a dog who's been used to being part of a family!
When her family didn't come for Flora, we rescued her from the shelter and took her up to our trainer. Flora was initially quite shy--she needs to get used to new things--but ultimately got along great with cats and kids!! (Our trainer is waiting to assess her with other dogs.)
Flora is playful and loves retrieving the tennis ball and going on leash walks with her human. She is learning leash manners and is proving to be a quick study.
Flora is between 3-4 years old, and weighs 68 lbs. Though she is definitely coming out of her shell, she would love a family who will go slow with her and let her get used to a new situation.
