Floppy's Story
Floppy was another one of our shelter fire survivors. At 7 years old, Floppy first found herself at a high kill shelter. The staff reached out to us for help and we could not say no to Floppy. Floppy is currently in a foster home. She is shy until she gets to know you and then is so very sweet and affectionate. This lovebug always wants to be by your side on the sofa or in bed - and is a velcro dog. Though not a total coach potato (but mostly), she has little spurts of energy where she likes to collectstoys (not really to play with, lol), explores, then plops back down for a nap (and yes one ear goes up and one stays down even when she is sleeping, lol). She is housebroken, knows how to sit and walks well on a leash. Floppy has the softest fur and really loves pets and attention. She is pretty easy to care for and though shy at first, is good with people. Floppy would not mind being your one and only dog as she can be picky about who her doggie friends are. We do not know what she thinks about cats. Floppy has been to the vet and brought up to date on her shots, spayed and has had a recent dental cleaning. She weighs 23 pounds. Please help Floppy find the loving home she deserves.

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat.
