Meet Flippy!<br/><br/>Flippy is a petite, 14-pound terrier mix with a gentle soul and the sweetest little face. When Flippy first arrived in his foster home, he was understandably terrified and spent most of his time staying safely in his crate. With patience, consistency, and the help of the resident dogs, he’s been gaining confidence every day.<br/><br/>Now that he’s settling in, Flippy is showing his true personality. He is getting less afraid, coming out on his own more often, and learning that people are kind and good things happen outside the crate. He does best with calm encouragement and a predictable routine.<br/><br/>Flippy does great with other dogs and takes a lot of comfort from them. He also lives peacefully with cats and has been wonderful around kids. He is polite in the home, doesn’t beg during meals, and enjoys gentle affection once he feels safe. Belly rubs are officially approved.<br/><br/>Because he can be quick and a bit timid, Flippy will need a home that is mindful with doors and committed to helping him continue building confidence. A home with another friendly dog would be a big plus for him.<br/><br/>Flippy would thrive with someone who understands that shy dogs bloom with time.
