Flint's Story

Hi, I’m Flint! I’m a handsome little guy born around January 1, 2026, and I’m a shep/lab mix expected to grow into about 45-50 pounds of playful, goofy, and loving energy. I was found in Mexico with my siblings, and since then I’ve been soaking up all the good things in life—like toys, cuddles, and plenty of snacks. I’m a fun-loving pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart!

Here’s why I’m such a catch:

Toy & Bone Enthusiast – If it squeaks, bounces, or can be chewed, I’m all in. Bonus points if snacks are involved.
Cuddle Champion – I may be independent, but I also love soaking up affection and being close to my people.
Playtime Pro – I’ve got energy for days and love to romp around, especially with other dogs.
Social Butterfly (with a twist) – I love dogs and people, but I’m also confident doing my own thing when needed.
I’m crate trained and doing well with leash training, though I’m still working on potty training like any young pup. I don’t have anxiety, but I may give a little whimper when you leave—don’t worry, I settle quickly. I’m very energetic and will thrive with regular playtime and activity. Car rides aren’t my favorite yet, but I handle short trips like a champ. I’m still learning about the world, but I’m a smart boy who’s eager to keep growing.

My dream home? Honestly, I’m pretty adaptable! I’d do well in most environments, but a home that can keep up with my energy and give me lots of playtime, love, and maybe a few extra toys (okay… a lot of toys) would be perfect. I’d make a great addition to a home with other dogs or as your main sidekick.

My adoption fee is $550, this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. Do I sound like the dog for you? You can fill out an application to adopt me at http://www.thecantufoundation.org
