🌸 Meet Fleur 🌸<br/><br/>Born: October 2016<br/><br/>Fleur may be a more experienced Greyhound, but this sweet girl is full of life, love, and a wonderful curiosity about the world! 💕 She is discovering the joys of being a pampered pet and is absolutely loving it. Her favorite activity? Being with her people and soaking up all the affection she can get. She could happily be petted all day!<br/><br/>Inside the house, Fleur enjoys the finer things in life—especially lounging on the couch while watching the world go by through the window. She may even give a little “woof!” when a neighborhood dog passes by. She is house-trained and has learned to let her foster family know when she needs to go outside.<br/><br/>And this girl is discovering that walks are pretty fabulous! 🐾 Fleur has been out both during daylight and in the dark and has done beautifully. She doesn’t really pull on the leash and enjoys a little zigzagging as she takes in all the sights and smells along the way. She has already met a couple of little dogs and calmly passed e-bikes and cars without a problem. In fact, after her first evening walk, she was so excited about the experience that she was eager to head out again the next morning—even in the dark! 🌙<br/><br/>Fleur is becoming more comfortable with the sights and sounds of her new world every day. She doesn’t appear to be fearful; she simply seems to be discovering experiences that may be new to her. And she is showing us that she’s ready to embrace them!<br/><br/>A little reserved when she first meets someone, Fleur has already shown how beautifully she blossoms with gentle encouragement. She warmed up wonderfully to an older child and would love a family who will give her the opportunity to continue exploring and enjoying life at her own pace.<br/><br/>Most importantly, Fleur is a true people dog. Give her a comfy couch, a loving family, some good walks, and plenty of pets, and she’ll be one happy girl. 🥰<br/><br/>Fleur is proof that there’s no age limit on new adventures, new experiences, and finding your happily-ever-after. 🌸🐾❤️
