Have you ever met a dog that's the equivalent to shaking up a can of soda and not letting it rest, instead after a vigorous shake you quickly open it unleashing a full blast of chaotic, but a little bit of fun mess? <br/><br/>Well that's Fizz, and he's appropriately named. Hes a beagle mix around 1 year old.<br/>Fizz is... a lot. He's high energy, mouthy, jumpy, pulls on leash, barks when he has something to say , and is still very much working on his potty training. But here's the thing about Fizz: he is like that because he has such a serious zest for life!<br/><br/>He LOVES people. He wants to sniff absolutely everything on his walks. He plays hard with every toy he can get his paws on. And apparently, if you put a ball near his water bowl, you've just invented the newest extreme sport—Fizz will slam dunk that thing straight into the water. <br/><br/>He's enthusiastic about other dogs, though a meet and greet is recommended, and we're still figuring out his feelings about cats.<br/>Fizz isn't going to be the easiest dog in the building. He's going to need someone willing to put in the work: training, structure, exercise, consistency, and patience. He's still learning that he doesn't need to experience every exciting thought with his entire body. <br/><br/>He even developed a double cherry eye shortly after arriving and needed corrective surgery. Thanks to the generosity of our shelter supporters, he was able to get the care he needed and is now ready to focus on his next big adventure.<br/><br/>Fizz is messy. Fizz is chaotic. Fizz is also ridiculously happy to be here.<br/>Maybe you don't want easy. Maybe you need someone to put a little pep in your step.
