Fizz's Story

Hi, I’m Fizz!

I’m a 7-month-old teenage puppy, which means I’m basically a tiny tornado wrapped in fur ... but I promise there’s a sweet, cuddly girl underneath all these teenage shenanigans!

I’m fully housebroken and I’m getting better and better at my crate. Sometimes I’ll whine or bark when my people leave the room because, well... why would anyone want to leave ME?! I’m learning that being alone is okay, and I’m making progress every day.

I’m also in my “everything looks delicious” phase. Shoes? Delicious. Random objects? Delicious. My leash? Apparently a five-star chew toy. I love to chew, so my forever family will need to keep me supplied with appropriate toys and help me learn what is—and isn’t—mine to chew.

When it comes to sharing, though, I’m a total sweetheart! I’m happy to give up my food, toys , and bones without a fuss.

Walks are usually a blast , and 90% of the time I’m a great little walker. The other 10%? Well... squirrels happen. Other dogs and people can also make me VERY excited, and sometimes I’ll pop up on my back legs or try to turn my leash into a game of tug-of-war. I’m still learning how to contain all my excitement and would love a family who will continue working with me.

Cats? I think they’re my new best friends and they unfortunately did NOT agree to that friendship. I get super excited and want to chase and play with them, so a cat-free home would probably be best for me.

People, on the other hand? LOVE THEM. I get excited when guests arrive because obviously everyone came over specifically to meet me.

I could live happily in a house or an apartment, although a fenced yard would be AMAZING for zoomies . I might also enjoy having a confident, older dog around who can show me the ropes.

My foster says I’m a “teenage punk,” and honestly... fair. I need boundaries, consistency, patience, and someone willing to keep teaching me how to be the best girl I can be. But underneath my puppy chaos, I’m slowly showing more of my sweet, cuddly side.

If you’re looking for a young dog who will keep you laughing , keep you moving , and occasionally test your patience before melting into your lap for cuddles...

I might just be your Fizz!
