Fishy's Story

Meet Fishy

This 1.5-year-old French Bulldog has already experienced more than she ever should have. Fishy was surrendered from an Amish commercial breeder after they suspected she had a urinary tract infection. When she could no longer be used for breeding, she was discarded like trash. Thankfully, we were able to step in and change her story.

What we discovered was even more concerning — Fishy didn’t have a UTI at all. She had a large bladder stone that required emergency surgery. She is now on the road to recovery and will need to remain on prescription food to help prevent future stones (though, as with any medical condition, there are no guarantees).

Despite everything she’s been through, Fishy is pure sweetness.

Here’s what we know about her:
✔ï ̧ Does well with other dogs and cats
✔ï ̧ Crate trained
✔ï ̧ Almost housebroken (the weather hasn’t been helping!)
✔ï ̧ Loves a banana dog bed — but any cozy bed will do
✔ï ̧ Rarely barks
✔ï ̧ Leash walking isn’t her strong suit (yet!)
✔ï ̧ Makes up for everything with the best cuddles
✔ï ̧ Has loved every single person she’s met

She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and on preventatives.

Fishy deserves a home where she will never again be valued for anything other than being a beloved companion.
