Fiona's Story

Meet Fiona 💕

Fiona is a short, squishy lovebug with the biggest smile and an even bigger heart. Born around December 29, 2022, this sweet girl has been through more than her fair share and somehow came out the other side still loving everyone she meets.

Fiona came to us from Animal Control and required an emergency C-section for a stillborn puppy. Despite that heartbreaking start, Fiona holds zero grudges against the world. Her mission in life now seems to be spreading joy, kisses, and full-body hugs to anyone within licking distance.

She’s house trained, crate trained, and knows sit, wait, and crate. Fiona loves all people, squeaky toys, bones, peanut butter–stuffed Kongs, car rides, walks, and playing with her dog friends. Her signature move is enthusiastically licking faces and leaning her whole body into you like she’s known you forever.

Fiona is dog friendly and currently lives in a multi-dog household. She also does great with kids and happily shares her home with her foster human siblings (ages 6 and 8). She’s easygoing, gentle, and just wants to be included in whatever her people are doing. Bonus feature: she doesn’t bark much, but she does make the most adorable little pig-snort noises that will absolutely steal your heart.

She is prone to ear infections, but she’s a champ about ear cleanings and doesn’t put up a fuss. Truly, Fiona is low maintenance in all the ways that matter and high reward in love.

Fiona would thrive in just about any home that offers kindness, time, and affection. If you’re looking for a dog who loves hard, snuggles harder, and greets life with a grin, Fiona is ready to be your forever girl 🐾💖
Est DOB: 12/29/2022
Apply at rescueapittie.org
