Fiona's Story

Fiona is a lovable 1 year old female Mix weighing just 36 lbs. She is great with people and does very well socializing with other dogs in playgroups! She will need a home with no cats. Fiona is an absolute sweetheart who LOVES attention and pleasing her people. She walks great on the leash and enjoys going for walks. She loves playing outside but will quickly join you on the couch for some cuddles and relaxation. This girl is perfection! Her pictures just don't due her justice. You need to meet Fiona in person to see how wonderful she truly is! Fiona is Heartworm Positive and has started her treatment. All costs are covered by our shelter.

Humane Society of Lake County's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters must complete an Adoption Application. HSLC staff will review all applications and reserve the right to deny any application. All adopters must provide a valid photo ID and must be at least 18 years old. Dog Adoption Fee: $150.00 ($200 for dogs completing training program) Includes up-to-date vaccines (for their age), microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm tested and on flea & tick preventatives. Any dog waiting to be spayed or neutered can be pre-adopted. That dog may not go home until after it has been spayed or neutered. Dog Adoption Application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LCFL/Dog Cat Adoption Fee: $75.00 Includes up-to-date vaccines (for their age), microchip, spay/neuter, FeLV and FIV tested and on flea & tick preventatives. Any cat waiting to be spayed or neutered can be pre-adopted. That cat may not go home until after it has been spayed or neutered.
