Saturday, December 13th, 2025 at Paradise Island in Staten Island from 11am - 3pm!<br/><br/>Meet Fiona! Fiona is almost 4-year-old, 30-pound "pocket pittie". When she first came into rescue, Fiona was paralyzed in her hind limbs and unable to walk. After multiple neurology visits, a course of steroids, and pain management, she has made an incredible recovery and regained full mobility. Her neurologist suspects the cause was IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease).<br/><br/>While there is potential for a recurrence in the future, Fiona is currently a healthy, active, and completely mobile dog. She enjoys her walks, handles a leash nicely, and is eager to please. Fiona is housebroken with only occasional minor accidents and is crate-trained, though she may bark initially before settling down.<br/><br/>Fiona has a gentle, affectionate temperament and thrives on human attention. She would do best in a home without young children, as she prefers a calm environment. Fiona could live with another submissive dog after proper introductions.<br/><br/>Fiona has overcome tremendous odds and is now ready for her forever home.
