My name is Finnegan, and I’m a black lab. I'm just starting to grow up at two years old and a healthy 58 pounds of pure affection.<br/><br/>My absolute favorite thing in the world, besides belly rubs from my humans, is a good walk. The smells! The sights! My tail just wags non-stop. And when we get home? It’s Nylabone time, or any chewable thing I can get my paws on really. Oh, and fetch, of course. Fetch is the ultimate game.<br/><br/>I’m what my humans call a "sweetheart," and I think they're right. I just love people. Their hands are so good for scratching behind my ears, and their voices are always so happy when they talk to me. Despite all my energy for walks and fetch, I’m also a pretty chill guy. While I do enjoy a good snuggle in bed sometimes, my absolute favorite spot to crash is the cool tile floor. It just feels so good on my belly.<br/><br/>Going places is fun too! Car rides are usually a blast, though I'll admit, sometimes that jump into the car is a bit daunting. My humans always help me, which is nice. They know I’m a bit hesitant.<br/><br/>Lately, though, there’s been a little shadow over my happy life. I had a bit of a rough encounter with another dog recently, and now, well, other pups make me a little nervous. I just prefer my own space and my own humans right now. It’s okay, though. With enough love, gentle walks, and good chew bones, I know I’ll get past it.
