Finnegan's Story

My name is Finnegan, and I'm a two-year-old black lab, and a solid 55 pounds of pure loyalty.

I love treats and toys! My favorites are chew toys like nylabones. My foster mom thinks it's funny that I bury my favorite toys in a blanket. I'm just protecting them and I can't wait to find them later. Car rides are great but I'm a little nervous getting into the car. Once I'm in, it's snooze time!

Now, you might think a dog my age and size would be all about plush beds and sinking into soft couches. Not me. I'm a bit of an anomaly in the canine world. While my humans sometimes let me commandeer the guest bed when they're out, my heart truly belongs to the cool, solid embrace of the floor.

It's not that I don't appreciate a good scratch behind the ears or a brief cuddle session. Oh, I love those! But once the initial excitement fades, my instinct kicks in. I have a job to do, you see. My humans trust me, and I take that very seriously.

During the day, while they're busy with their human things, I patrol. I make my rounds, ensuring every corner of our home is accounted for. No need for crates or worries about me chewing up the furniture. I'm perfectly content just being present, a silent guardian.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
