Finnegan's Story

If you are interested in Finnegan, please read his entire bio and fill out the application on the link below. We do not consider Petfinder "adoption interests" when determining a good match. We will only adopt this guy out to local SF Bay area residents. Thank you

Adoption application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HOTD/Dog

Meet Finnegan!

As of July 25th, Finn is 8 weeks old and weighs 13 lbs. He's growing fast and is expected to be a large breed dog. His mother weighed about 60 lbs but we did not meet his dad.

Finn is a German Shepherd mix who was born as a singleton puppy in a shelter in Modesto. His mother was very stressed out in the shelter and was not taking good care of him so, at 4 weeks old he went to a rescue to get proper care and nutrition and to be around other pups to help him learn how to "dog". He has thrived in his foster home and has been growing rapidly, he loves other dogs and is anxious to start his life with his forever family. PS. Mom got adopted from the shelter by the way (woohoo).

Finnegan is a typical puppy; playful, friendly, not a mean bone in his body and loves to explore. He will need all of the typical puppy training for him to grow up to be the best boy he can be. We want a committed adopter who will help make that happen for him and in return, you'll get a wonderful companion who is happy snuggly and ready to be your best pal in life.

If this sounds like you, please fill out our application and a volunteer will reach out to you shortly.

Note** because of his young age, he is not fully vaccinated or neutered just yet however the rescue will cover these expenses and expect the adopter to bring him to his vet appointments to have them completed at the appropriate time.
