Meet Finn

Link to application: https://forms.gle/fnhKpuY6PBgNeDqH6

Are you looking for a best friend, a loyal companion, and a dog who will be completely devoted to his person? If you're a woman living on your own and want a dog who will make you feel loved and protected, Finn may be the perfect match.

Finn's story is nothing short of incredible. This handsome 100 pound Great Pyrenees was found after being hit by a car and thrown into a culvert. He underwent spinal surgery and has spent the past year and a half in our rescue recovering, healing, and showing us just what an amazing dog he truly is.

Finn does have a permanent limp and experiences some discomfort, which is well managed with a daily pain medication each morning. He has remained stable and continues to enjoy life to the fullest.

Like many Great Pyrenees, Finn is deeply loyal, intelligent, and naturally protective. This breed was developed to guard livestock independently, so they are known for:

Fierce devotion to their family

A calm, gentle temperament with the people they trust.

Strong protective instincts and excellent awareness of their surroundings.

Independence and confidence when making decisions.

A tendency to be reserved with strangers until they know they are welcome.

Finn takes his role as protector seriously. He wants to look after his person and will naturally alert you to visitors and stand between you and anything he believes could be a threat. Because of this, he needs an experienced home that understands and appreciates the guardian instincts that are part of his breed.

Due to his spinal injury, Finn cannot be a full time livestock guardian living outdoors.

However, he would absolutely love a home with some property where he can patrol the yard, explore, and enjoy being outside with his family before coming inside to relax with his people. He belongs as part of the familynot left outside.

Finn is looking for someone who doesn't just want a dogthey want a true partner. In return, he'll offer unwavering loyalty, endless companionship, and a heart that is completely devoted to the person he loves.
If you're ready to give this remarkable survivor the forever home he deserves, Finn is ready to give you his whole heart.

Finn is house trained, he is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, on flea, tick and heart worm prevention, neutered and so much more!

Please note at our organization, we prioritize finding the best match between our animals and their future families, rather than following a first-come, first-served approach. Our goal is to ensure that each pet is placed in a home that suits their needs and that the animal is the right fit for your lifestyle.

Please note that we are a foster-based rescue and do not operate a physical shelter.
