Meet Finn!<br/><br/>Finn is a sweet, goofy soul who will keep you smiling! He was raised with a Chihuahua, a Cattle Dog and a Pitbull so he’s super well-rounded. He’s really the best boy but his fosters aren’t ready for a full-time fourth dog. <br/><br/>Finn is a young Lab/Boxer mix with a big heart and good medium energy who loves walks and playing at the park. He also loves his routine, snacks, and especially his favorite gator toy. Chilling, snuggling and watching sunrises and sunsets are some of his favorite pastimes, and he’s always eager to learn new things and make you proud. <br/><br/>Finn’s story began on the streets, followed by a short stay in a shelter. Since then, he’s been thriving in a loving foster home with three other dogs and stay-at-home foster parents. He’s learned how wonderful it is to be part of a pack and has discovered the joy of walks, playtime, car rides, snuggles, and of course—mealtime!<br/><br/>Finn is a gentle, funny guy — he often “talks” like Chewbacca! While he’s naturally chill and laid-back, he can still be a little nervous in new situations. With patience, kindness, and the space to grow at his own pace, he will blossom into the loyal companion he’s meant to be.<br/><br/>Finn will need to be in a home with a fenced yard or acreage, ideally with another friendly dog to play with. He shouldn’t be left alone at home for more than a few hours until he’s confident and comfortable in his new place.<br/><br/>This sweet boy is about 7-8 months old, weighs 62 lbs., is neutered, housetrained, leash- and crate-trained, and up to date on his doggie shots. His fosters think he’d learn how to use a doggie door quickly. He’s DNA tested and good with other dogs. Cats and kids are unknown, but knowing how friendly he is with people, his fosters think he’d do great with kids over the age of 6.<br/><br/>He’s currently in his foster home in Clovis, NM; but his people are willing to drive him anywhere if we can all find him the right home.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts cuddle buddy, adventure partner, and comic relief, Finn just might be your perfect match!<br/><br/>For more info and/or to apply to adopt Finn, send us an email at SummitDogRescue@gmail.com, telling us a bit about yourself, your home environment and your lifestyle.
