FINN's Story
Finn was surrendered to the shelter when his owners lost their home. Shelter was full and he needed an exit plan. We were happy to have him come to our Rescue to find his forever home. He is an amazing dog, 2 years old and about 70 lbs. Finn is absolutely gorgeous from head to tail but his gold eyes are the icing on the cake. He is exactly what you would expect from a retriever/shepherd mix, smart, friendly, easy going and handsome! He will make a great buddy for someone who needs one. He is good with all the dogs in his foster home, large and small. He is just a go with the flow kind of guy who loves to run and play in the yard and then chill by his people. He is completely housebroken in his foster home. Crate trained (whines a for a few minutes), walks perfect on a leash (happily greets all people he sees on his walks) and is good in the car. He loves to romp in the yard, chase his kong football and play "catch me if you can" with his foster friends. Another playful and friendly dog in the home would be a plus in his opinion. He has lived in peace with cats and has an easy going temperament. He would do best with older kids as he seems to think toddlers are in competition with him for the adult attention and gets jealous. He has never tried to hurt anyone but would be better off without toddler age children in his forever home. All of his vet care has been updated including his neuter.

adoption fee: 200

please contact us directly at: ohiosdrescue@gmail.com
