Finn's Story

Meet Finn!

Foster Family Update:
Finn is settling in super nicely. Genuinely the easiest foster I've ever had. His house training is good, he loves his crate, and I haven't heard him bark once. He's very sweet and very interested in other dogs. He definitely has some quirks (he refuses to go down the stairs in my house and absolutely won't leave his crate unless his leash is on), but in general is very very well behaved. His eating is all normal and frankly I think he'll settle in to wherever he goes very easily.

Finn is a bit of a celebrity since he was Dog is My Copilot's 1,000th dog to fly with them! He's one of 22 new arrivals who just landed here in Bend, Oregon from Norman, OK thanks to our rescue partner Dog is My Copilot who provided the much needed air transport. They just arrived on 9/17, so they're anxious to settle in with their temporary foster families to get their chance to rest and decompress, and prepare for their lucky new family. Stay tuned for more updates as we learn more about each of these amazing dogs. In this group we have puppies, small breeds, potential purebred dogs, fluffy floofs and medium to larger mixed breed pups as well, so a little something for everyone who's looking for their next companion. Don't wait to submit your adoption application online through our website for a chance to meet a dog and adopt. Thanks in advance for helping in this life-saving mission!

Previous shelter's notes:
Finn came to the shelter after being rescued by an animal control officer. The previous owner was charged with felony animal cruelty. When Finn was admitted to the shelter, he weighed only 19 pounds. Today, he's on track to be a happier and healthier boy! He's good with dogs, good with cats, learning the house training ropes well (has not had any accidents). He is very sweet, had been a bit skittish of tall men but loves pets. His crate has become his safe spot.

Will you be this pup's lucky hero?

PupFax: Finn
Adoption Status: Cleared
Medical Clearance: Cleared
Medical Status: Yes
Location: Bend, Oregon
Rescue Intake Type: Rescue/Shelter in Norman, OK
At-a-Glance Stats
Breed: Black Labrador Mix
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Vaccinations: Up to date
Microchipped: Yes
(Each adoption includes their wellness check, vaccinations (core shots), microchip and spay/neuter, which will be done before we can send them home with their adopter.)
Home & Lifestyle Fit -
People: Good
Dogs: Good
Kids: TBD
Cats: Yes
Activity Level:
Training & Manners
House/Potty Trained: Yes
Crate Trained: TBD
Leash Skills: TBD
Commands Known: TBD
Food/Treat Motivation: TBD
Health Notes: Good
Overall Health: Good
Known Medical Needs: (All known medical and behavioral information is disclosed prior to adoption.)
