Hi there! I’m Finn, a handsome 5-year-old boy with a heart of gold, a goofy personality, and an impressive talent for taking silly pictures! And don’t let my gray face fool you—I’m only around 5 years old!<br/><br/>I’m a sweet, loyal guy who would love nothing more than to be your furry shadow. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, so I just need a little patience and time to feel comfortable. But once I trust you, get ready, because I’ll be right by your side, soaking up all the love and attention I can get.<br/><br/>I’m the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. I still have plenty of pep in my step and absolutely love my daily walks. When it’s time to play, my goofy side really comes out! Tennis balls, squeaky toys, and especially squeaky balls are some of my very favorite things in the whole world.<br/><br/>I also love being outside, although sometimes I make questionable choices, like rolling around in the dirt. I think it’s fantastic. My foster family disagrees, especially when bath time rolls around!<br/><br/>I’m fully potty trained, I don’t need a crate, and I already know several commands, including sit, paw, and lay down. I can get a little nervous with grooming and nail trims, but with some patience, reassurance, and a steady supply of yummy treats, I do just fine.<br/><br/>I’ve lived successfully with children of all ages and cats, too! I currently share my foster home with other dogs and do well with them. I just appreciate canine friends who understand that sometimes everyone needs a little personal space.<br/><br/>My dream family is a low-key home where I can take my time settling in, enjoy daily walks, get plenty of love and attention, and receive lots and lots of belly rubs. In return, I promise to give you my loyalty, companionship, and the sweetest puppy-dog face you’ve ever seen.<br/><br/>I came to Safe Haven after my family went through a divorce situation. I’ve been nothing but loving and loyal, but I think it’s fair to say that I miss having a family of my own—one that will love me forever.<br/><br/>I’m ready for my next chapter. We offer a $15 discount for adopters who pay by cash or check, making the adoption fee $450.<br/><br/>The adoption fee includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal test, deworming, current on flea and tick preventative, and microchip.<br/><br/>To ensure the best match for both our dogs and adopters, we require a fully completed adoption application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with the entire household.
