Finley here and I’d like to introduce myself to all the wonderful friends and families of LSWR. My mom and dad loved me very much and had to make the difficult decision to find me a new home. I’ve struggled with Westie skin issues and they felt uncertain on how to care for me. I’ve been on several medications from the dogtor to help keep my breakouts under control, it’s been ruff on me and my patience has become a bit short. I have shown some great improvement since I joined LSWR on 4/14/2022, so that’s some wonderful news to share!!<br/><br/>I’m almost 2 years old and I give the best welcome home kisses in the house. I like balls, toys, and when my foster mom plays with me, her hand attacks me so I can nibble on her finger while getting a belly rub. My foster mom says I can be sassy, but it’s really that I’m a serious squirrel hunter and practice my squirrel hunting skills from multiple locations at my foster home daily like the kitchen window, the dining room and my foster mom’s office. I’m really good at letting everyone know that danger lurks out front and to proceed with caution. I’m not a lap dog, but I do like to be close to people when we settle in for movie night or some television. <br/><br/>I have been on a limited ingredient diet and that has worked wonders for me. I’m in a foster home with a couple of other Westies. I'm learning how to play and want to play with them but I don't always get what I want. I am your typical Westie who wants to be the boss of them. As a puppy, I probably didn't get all the puppy training a Westie needs.
