Meet Fin — short for "Fins Up" if you're a Jimmy Buffett fan! He's a 7-month-old black Lab mix with a dashing speckled tuxedo stripe down his neck and chest. The rest of his coat is a healthy, shiny black and satin smooth.<br/>Like a typical Lab, Fin is sweet, goofy, and loves his people. He loves wrestling and running with other dogs, and he's great with the kids in his foster home. He's a polite greeter who doesn't jump or nip, which makes him a good candidate for a home with younger kids and babies. He loves fetch, tug, and chewing on bully sticks. When he's tired, he loves snuggling on the couch with his humans — and he makes his foster family laugh with his puppy clumsiness when he tumbles off it!<br/>The best part about Fin is that he's potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is food motivated, which makes him easy to train. In fact, he already knows sit, down, and stand!<br/>Fin gets a little nervous on car rides but settles down after a while. His foster family is also working with him on crate training — he goes in willingly for treats but is still vocal about his anxiety over being closed in. Because of this, Fin would do best in a home with someone who has the time to keep teaching him that his crate is a safe, calm place, until he's old enough to have free run of the house unsupervised.
