What emerged wasn’t just a handsome little pup, but a joyful, loving soul who had clearly been waiting for his second chance.<br/><br/>At just 20 months old and 16 pounds, Filipe is the perfect small companion. He is happy, playful, and full of life, with a sweet spirit that shines through in everything he does. Filipe gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even does well with cats, making him a great fit for a variety of homes. <br/><br/>He is doing very well with potty training and is about 75% there. His fur is more like hair, and oh so soft!<br/><br/>What truly sets Filipe apart is his devotion to his people. He sticks like glue to his humans, following you from room to room, always wanting to be close. He absolutely loves to be held and will happily put his little arms on your shoulders as if he’s hugging you, showering you with lots of puppy kisses.<br/><br/>Filipe has already endured more than any young dog should, yet he greets the world with trust, happiness, and an open heart.
