Fiji

Fiji had an ok appointment with the ophthalmologist recently at<br/><br/>Veterinary Ophthalmology Service<br/><br/>where we did learn that he does not have glaucoma - good news - so no eye removal needed, but we also did learn that he does have some scratching on his cornea (which may get better with time and meds), and he has a retinal disease that does make it so he currently can see some with light, but his site will continue to diminish over time until he eventually will probably be fully blind. BUT. Dogs are soooo good at adapting so if we find this little man a home while he still has site, it will make it so much easier when that site goes.<br/><br/>Fiji is pretty easy at his fosters home and does great with their large breed dog and high school age daughter and is cute as a button! If you like to take pics of dogs then Fiji is here for it!
