Fig's Story

Fig, born around March 23, is a Chihuahua mix weighing in at approximately 2.5 lbs of determination, curiosity, and very strong opinions about being included in whatever you're doing.

She’s playful, social, and already settling beautifully into home life. Fig is starting to figure out potty training, recently met a larger dog where she absolutely held her own, and has quickly become part of the family. Tiny? Yes. Intimidated? Absolutely not.

She has recently discovered the magic of puppy toys and now proudly carries them around like prized possessions. She loves playing with kids, exploring the house, and attempting major athletic achievements like conquering stairs and learning how to get onto the couch. For someone with legs approximately the size of a mozzarella stick, this is serious business.

Fig is happiest when she can adventure nearby while keeping her people in sight. She’s affectionate, playful, brave in short bursts, and then very committed to tiny puppy naps afterward. She’s already fallen hard for her foster family so we know she'll waste no time settling in with her forever family when they find her.

Apply online today for a chance to meet Fig. http://poundpuppyrescue.org/adoptapp.html Please be sure to read our FAQs for information about our adoption process and fees.
