Fetty Wap's Story

Meet Fetty Wap

Yes, thats Fetty Wap—our Fetty got his name because, just like the rapper, hes rocking life with one eye. And trust us, he doesnt think hes missing a thing. Fetty has a thick, gorgeous black tri coat with a very fluffy full tail. Hes about 35 pounds and estimated at 2 years old. He rides well in the car, walks well on a leash, knows sit, is house trained and crate trained.

Fetty had a pretty rough start to life. He was found as a stray in rural Alabama, but since making his way to DC and settling into his foster home, this little guy has absolutely blossomed. His past may be sad, but Fetty certainly isnt. He approaches life at approximately 100 mph and thinks every day is the BEST DAY EVER. He has an old injury to his pelvis from before he came to us, which has healed, and he takes Dasuquin supplements.

Fetty is high-energy, playful, goofy, incredibly loving, and proof that having one eye doesnt slow you down one bit. His favorite game is fetch followed closely second by chase—he doesnt mind if hes doing the chasing or being chased, he loves both. After hes gotten his zoomies and adventures out, hes more than happy to pile in for some serious cuddle time. He has not been exposed to cats or kids while in our care.

His dream home would be with someone who has an active lifestyle and wants a four-legged sidekick for walks, hikes, adventures, games of fetch and whatever else life brings. Hed also be thrilled to have regular playtime with canine friends. He will require ongoing training to be his best self!

Fetty has already traveled a long way to find his new life. Now hes just waiting for the person who will show him that the best part is still ahead. He is fostered in Fort Washington, MD.

https://aussierescueofthemidatlantic.org
