Meet Fernando!<br/>This gentle and quiet 11 year old senior Italian Greyhound is looking for a cozy spot on your couch and a place in your heart. He has a gentle nature, and would be a great companion for a peaceful quiet home. Fernando is shy, some might even say aloof; he needs a person who understands Italian Greyhounds and will give him lots of patience and time to become comfortable in his new home. Fernando is leash trained and can sleep in a crate, although he would rather be with his person/people.<br/>He likes both men and women. This good boy is working on his potty habits and would like to be with a low key household who can continue to work with him; he's just never been taught, he's had no consistency or anyone to take the time to teach him. He's smart and is catching on. He could be an only dog, but another confident IG in the home would be good for him. He does not do well with toddlers/younger children. Older patient kids/teens could be OK.<br/>Could you be the one to offer him a warm and loving home?<br/>Fernando is located in the San Jose California area.
