Meet Fern Flintstone, she's the modern stone age dog for youuuu! This adorable girl is a 5.5 month-old (9/17) Terrier mix, weighing 26 pounds (as of 9/17/26). She and her brother, Fox, were strays around the town of Bedrock, Tennessee. But once she's living in your swanky cave, you'll be saying Yabba Dabba Doo!<br/><br/>UPDATE: Fern is definitely a gem. She’s chosen my son as her person straight away. Would love a home with kids. She and my two dogs play together great. <br/><br/>She slept in the crate all night without a peep and I can tell potty training is going to be pretty straightforward with her! She’s really excellent at chilling and snuggling on the couch. Loves chew toys. She seems to be the kind of dog that will thrive in many different home situations. She has no problems with new people, places or things which is great because anything goes in the Stone Age! She has plenty of<br/>puppy energy but also enjoys being held after a long day of yelling, "Yabba Dabba Doozie!" She gets along with other dinosaurs (dogs); size doesn't matter to her. She's also met kids who like to hit things and say, "Bam! Bam!" around the rescue. We're not sure if she's met any pet saber toothed-tigers (cats) yet, but an introduction is in order! She's just a prehistoric pup looking for a fun family to hang with.<br/><br/>Sweet Fern will need all the help she can get with puppy training, leashes, crates, and potty as she adjusts to your cozy cave. As a trade-off, she'll find a fire-breathing dragon to heat up your morning coffee. Nothing says "Good morning" like freshly burned coffee! Fern can't wait to meet her perfect prehistoric family! <br/><br/>All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
