Fergus arrived in rescue as part of an accidental litter and has been thriving in a loving foster home. Fergus is a typical, high energy, working breed dog and will need a family that is willing to keep up with him. Contrary to what you may see on social media, corgis are not couch potatoes and they can also be very vocal. He is still learning about house training, leash training, what to chew and not chew and his socialization. His foster mom says: Meet Fergus! Fergus is one of those puppies who is ready to make EVERYTHING an adventure! This handsome Corgi boy is full of energy, curiosity, and puppy mischief, and he’s always looking for something fun to do. Whether it’s exploring the yard, chasing toys, getting the zoomies, or following his people around, Fergus is happiest when he’s right in the middle of the action! He’s a sweet, loving boy who enjoys attention and is always ready to hand out some puppy kisses. But don’t let that adorable face fool you—Fergus is a full-time puppy and he’s going to need a family who is ready for all that comes with it! His new family should be prepared to work on house training, crate training, leash walking, basic manners, appropriate chewing, and all the other important puppy lessons.
