The world is still a bit scary to her and she needs gentle, quiet encouragement to help her feel safe. <br/> <br/>What Fergie loves- <br/>-Being with her person after she has time to trust<br/>-Going for walks in a carrier where she can experience the world but still feel safe<br/>-Sleeping on your pillow at night<br/>- Being near her human as much as possible <br/><br/>A work in progress-<br/> Fergie has a few things she is working on including how to walk on a leash and mastering potty skills. She is making great strides but due to her timid nature she will very likely backslide when moving into a new home. She does best with an indoor potty pad option while she practices going outside. <br/>What Fergie is looking for in a home-<br/>- An agile human for those times you will need to get down to her level to help encourage her.<br/>- A toddler free home. No kids or older kids would be best due to her tiny size and fear of fast movements<br/>- Patience…. Lots of patience! Fergie will take a couple of weeks to get to know her new human and time to allow this will be necessary <br/>- A gentle, quiet natured human. Loud is scary when you are 4lbs. <br/>- If there are other dogs in the home, they must be very gentle. <br/> Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online application: https://form.jotform.com/223268341300041<br/><br/> We are a 100% volunteer organization and have to work other jobs to pay the bills.
