Felix's Story
We advise all adopters to expect the 3-3-3 rule as a general guideline for introducing a pet to the home: 3 days to decompress (will show nervousness, hiding, reduced appetite), 3 weeks to settle into a routine (beginning to explore and showing personality), and 3 months to build trust and feel fully comfortable in their new home. This period may be longer for shy or extremely scared animals.

Felix would make an amazing family dog! He interacts beautifully with children of varying ages, and adults. He loves going on Doggie Day Out trips and other adventures. Don't let his behavior in the kennel fool you, Felix actually wants desperately to meet you. He does need a meet and greet if there are other dogs in the home as he can be selective about his canine friends. Felix is actively bad with cats and demonstrates a high prey drive for small animals.
