Meet Felicity<br/><br/>Felicity is a beautiful tan and white pittie mix, about a year old and 45 pounds of pure love. She is truly sunshine in dog form, always happy, always smiling, and always ready to be close to her people.<br/><br/>Felicity is a total love bug who thrives on connection. She melts into you when she cuddles and will happily curl up right beside you or in your lap, always wanting to be touching her humans. She sleeps in bed snuggled in close and follows her people like a little shadow. She is incredibly sweet with kids and absolutely adores being part of a family. She also loves being outside, whether she is lounging in the grass or playing with her people.<br/><br/>She is very social with other dogs and loves to play. Sometimes her enthusiasm can be a bit much for more mellow dogs, but she responds well to correction and will back off quickly, showing a naturally submissive and respectful temperament. She is an active, engaged girl who would do great with another playful dog or an active home.<br/><br/>Felicity is potty trained and has only had a couple of minor accidents that came from getting overly excited during play. She is crate trained and will go in when asked, though she may still be building confidence in the crate. She already knows sit and is a smart, eager learner who will thrive with continued structure and training.<br/><br/>Like many young dogs, Felicity is still working on some manners. She can be curious and mischievous, including jumping onto surfaces like tables if given the opportunity, so she will benefit from a home that can provide guidance, consistency, and supervision as she continues to learn. With a little time and training, she has all the potential to grow into an incredibly well mannered companion.<br/><br/>Felicity came from the Bakersfield shelter, where she had no name but stood out immediately for her joyful spirit and gentle heart. We named her Felicity because her happiness was impossible to miss, and even after everything she has been through, she continues to lead with love.<br/><br/>She is fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Felicity is ready for a home that will embrace her affectionate nature, continue her training, and give her the love and structure she deserves. In return, she will be a deeply loyal, endlessly loving companion who brings warmth, joy, and constant cuddles into your life.
