Felicity

Felicity is the kind of dog who makes it easy to imagine life with her. Energetic, outgoing, and always ready for an adventure, she loves being included, and her foster family happily takes her along whenever they can. She is house-trained, heartworm negative, and does well with both dogs and children.<br/><br/>Felicity's journey hasn't always been easy. She first came to GIHS in 2024 as an emaciated stray. Months later, when she finally found a home, it was a big day at the shelter. Our staff gathered to send her off with plenty of hugs and more than a few happy tears.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, just a few months later, Felicity came back to us when her family's circumstances changed. Her return had nothing to do with the wonderful dog she is and everything to do with circumstances beyond her control.<br/><br/>Now, Felicity is hoping for another chance. This time, one that lasts. She's already proven just how much love, companionship, and adventure she has to offer. She just needs someone ready to offer the same in return.
