What is MaxFund No-Kill Animal Shelter’s adoption process?

MaxFund is a physical shelter with 3 separate locations, all within a block! Take a stroll and visit some amazing dogs and cats! Dog Shelter 1005 Galapago St. Denver, CO 80204 303-595-4917 Cat Shelter 720 W. 10th Ave. Denver, CO 80204 720-266-6081 Meow Manor (which is our administration building, but also has a few cats too!) 958 Inca St. Denver, CO 80204 720-726-4552 Business hours: We are open from 10am - 5pm every day EXCEPT Tuesday. We are closed on Tuesdays. We also close every day from 12-1 for lunch and nap time for the animals! How our adoption process works: 1. We do not require appointments – come anytime during normal business hours. We suggest you call ahead to be sure the animal(s) do not have pending applications 2. Everyone in the household must come into the shelter to meet the animal you're interested in. If you are meeting a dog, and have dogs at home, they need to meet too! If you have a cat at home, no need to stress them out and bring them in! We will cat test the dog or cat and let you know if it will work out! You can meet up to three dogs in one visit, no limit for cats! 3. Once you've picked out the dog of your dreams, fill out an application!! The application process can take up to 3-5 business days for us to fully process and review. We do not offer same day adoptions, and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We take great pride in sending our dogs to their loving, forever homes! Thank you for choosing our rescue!
