Felicia's Story

Meet Felicia!
Felicia is a beautiful, friendly mixed-breed girl with a heart full of love and loyalty. Once found on a rural highway with her two puppies, she landed in a shelter where her little ones quickly found homes. Now it's mama's turn to find her forever family!

Felicia is the best of both worlds--so sweet and affectionate with people, and social with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. She currently lives in a foster home with multiple pups and does great with them all. Whether she has canine siblings or is the only dog in the home, what Felicia truly wants is companionship and plenty of love from her humans.

This smart girl is house-trained with a doggie door, does well in a crate for short periods, and has already completed a basic manners obedience class.
She's a good learner but can get a little excited when she first heads out on leash--something she's working on. She's also taken short car rides like a champ, though longer trips make her queasy.

Felicia thrives on attention and would be happiest in a home where she isn't left alone for long stretches--perfect for a semi-retired person or someone who works from home.
With a little daily exercise and playtime outside, she settles beautifully as an indoor companion, always eager to share her love.

Just look at her beautiful eyes and you will see how much joy she will bring to a caring committed furever home.
If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will shower you with affection, belly-up for tummy rubs, and be a true partner in life's adventures, Felicia is your girl!

Here are a couple of videos of when she started with her basic training:
https://youtube.com/shorts/sDll4gMtX7U?si=869cLYheprZS0cOl
https://youtu.be/NTtYcevZRUI?si=yW91p2ZJZwz3RzeV

Name: Felicia
Breed: Hound/German Shepherd Dog
Sex: Female
Age: 3 years (estimated)
Weight: 60.0
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Vaccinations: Up to date
Heartworm: Negative on recent testing
Microchipped: Yes

BASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:
Good with Children: Over 10-has not lived with kids, but has been good with public meet/greets.
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Cats: Unknown-can be cat tested, if needed.

Adoption Fee: $550.00 (includes transport fee when applicable)

Location of dog currently: Texas

For MASSACHUSETTS RESIDENTS ONLY - Dogs importing into Massachusetts (regardless of where they are coming from) are subject to quarantine for 48 hours at one of two facilities - Medfield or Westport.
