Faye's Story

Meet Faye — Professional Sidekick, Amateur Fetch Coach

Hi, I’m Faye! I’m a confident, friendly girl who bounded right out of my kennel ready to play—and I’ve been happily following my people around ever since!

My favourite things? Playing (especially with other dogs), eating, and napping… then doing it all over again. I’ve got that classic puppy routine down! I’d love a home with another playful pup to keep me company.

I’m great with kids, though I can still get a little bouncy when I’m excited, so I’ll need some continued guidance as I learn my manners. I’m also working on housetraining and doing pretty well, with just the occasional accident.

I sleep soundly through the night in my crate (a full 8 hours!) and do well when left for a few hours during the day too. I’m also a curious girl—I love exploring the yard and checking out anything I can find. I’m teething, so having lots of appropriate chew toys will help keep me on track.

I’m very food motivated (which will make training fun!) and I love being close to my people. Wherever you are, I’ll likely be right there—at your feet, under the table, or following along as your little shadow.

Oh, and if you don’t already play fetch… don’t worry, I’ll teach you!
If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate pup, I might just be your girl 💛

Born: Nov 3rd, 2025
Breed: Lab/Shepherd Mix
Gender: Female
Size: Expected to be large
Activity Level: Puppy
Cats: Yes, with a slow intro
Dogs: Yes
Kids: Yes
Adoption Fee: $395

If you are interested in meeting Faye, applications can be found here:

http://mgpr.weebly.com/dog-adoption-application.html

Thank you to Sunny S-H Photography for the beautiful photos of Faye

Manitoba Great Pyrenees Rescue's Adoption Policy
The adoption process starts with an application form to find out more information about your family to ensure the best fit for the dog. Applications can be found at http://mgpr.weebly.com/ Second step is to have reference checks and vet checks. We want to ensure all dogs go to responsible loving homes. Thirdly, is the meet and greet with the dog you are interested in adopting. We encourage all members of your family to be in attendance at this visit as the dog will be an integral part of all of their lives. The final step of the adoption process is a home visit from one of our team members. The home visit allows us to see the environment in which the dog will be living as well as to offer any tips and advice to making your home dog friendly. Then your new family member will come home to shower your family with unconditional love.
