Meet Fawn:<br/><br/>Fawn is a sweet, 3-year-old female Maltese who is finally ready for her happily ever after. Rescued from a puppy mill where she was used for breeding, Fawn is now spayed, up-to-date on shots, and has a freshly cleaned smile thanks to a recent full dental.<br/><br/>When she first arrived in our care, Fawn was suffering from severe, painful nodules in her ears due to chronic infections. To give her a pain-free life, she underwent two TECA (Total Ear Canal Ablation) surgeries. She was an absolute trooper through all her vet stays, and though she is now a little hard of hearing, she is overjoyed to finally be out of pain! Her happy, resilient spirit shines through every day.<br/><br/>Fawns Perfect home:<br/><br/>The Environment: A quieter home where she can relax. She loves finding a snuggly spot on the couch!<br/><br/>Other Pets: She gets along great with cats and would do well with 1 or 2 calm, respectful dog siblings. She is not a fan of high-energy puppy energy (she tried to teach her foster brothers some manners, but they didn't listen!).<br/><br/>Kids & Crates: She doesn't mind children and is perfectly fine spending time in a crate, though her foster mom lets her roam free most of the time.<br/><br/>Since she spent her early life in a mill, Fawn will need a patient adopter who is willing to help her learn the ropes with housebreaking and leash walking. If you have a quiet couch and a lot of love to give, Fawn is waiting for you!
