Meet Fawn<br/>Fawn and her best friend Gus were surrendered when their dad could no longer care for them. These two are bonded and will be adopted together. We understand that might make it harder for them to find a home, but their love for each other is deep and they thrive when together. <br/>Fawn is a doxi. She’s about 1.5 years old. Fawn has a beautiful fawn colored smooth coat and warm brown eyes. She is a little overweight right now and we’re watching her diet closely. Fawn is an angel. She has the sweetest personality. She and Gus will both get in your lap for a good snuggle. Both pups walk well on leashes and enjoy getting out on walks and exploring They travel fine in a car. They like other dogs and both do fine with cats. They are calm, and quiet yet very playful. They are an adorable and happy couple. They love running in the yard and exploring. They enjoy sunbathing too. These two will make for wonderful companions. We don’t think they are house-trained, but we think they could learn quickly. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
