FAT BOY's Story

???? Look at this sweet face and that precious smile! ???? At 4 years old, this gentle giant has spent his whole life in one loving home. Recently, he was surrendered through no fault of his own — when his family became homeless. Now he’s ready to share his heart (and his famous hugs) with a new forever family. ?? Meet the one and only Fat Boy! Fat Boy is the perfect mix of playful and chill. In his previous home, he split his time between indoors and outdoors, making him an ideal companion for both couch ??? cuddles and backyard ?? adventures. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and knows “paw,” “lay down,” and — get ready — he’ll give you a HUG if you ask! ???? ?? A true family dog: Fat Boy has lived with kids of all ages (toddlers and school-aged!) and did wonderfully with them. He also gets along with other dogs and even cats. Whether he’s making new friends or soaking up the sun ??, his gentle, loving personality shines. He may be a little shy at first, but give this boy a moment and you’ll meet a playful, affectionate best friend who’s always up for a game or a snuggle. ???? If you’re searching for a loyal companion with a heart as big as his smile, come meet Fat Boy at the shelter — he’s ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and the best hugs ever! ?? ?? Fat Boy | A307436 ?? 4-years-old ?? Neutered Male ?? 62.8 lbs ?? Adoption fee: 8??0?? Includes: ?? Neuter ?? Microchip ?? Age-appropriate vaccines ?? Current heartworm & flea prevention ???? Meet-and-greets recommended with resident dogs and children to ensure the perfect match. ?? Remember the 3-3-3 Rule When Adopting: 3 Days — to decompress 3 Weeks — to learn routines 3 Months — to feel fully at home ?? ?? 430 Bristol Dr., Statesville, NC #adoptfromicas #myicasrescue
