He’s playful, fun, and full of personality—but he’s still learning how to manage all that excitement in a way that works in a home environment. When he gets amped up, he may jump on people and can become mouthy, so he’ll need continued structure, training, and consistency to help him build better manners.Food is one of Farley’s biggest motivators, which will be a great tool for training, but he can take treats quickly and a bit roughly due to his excitement. With guidance and patience, he has strong potential to learn impulse control and good habits. When it comes to other dogs, Farley is reactive and will need a home that understands how to manage and work through these behaviors safely and responsibly. Because of his energy level and behavior needs, he is not recommended for homes with small children.Farley will do best with a dedicated, experienced adopter—ideally someone familiar with behavior work, training, or working breeds—who can provide structure, exercise, and ongoing guidance. For the right person, Farley is a dog with big potential, big energy, and a big heart just waiting to be shaped into the best version of himself.
