She was in a shelter with her mom, Honey Bea and brother, Barq&#39;s Root Beer and sister, Ginger Ale. She has light red smooth fur and a black muzzle. She weighs about 12 lbs. She was probably born in March of this year.<br/><br/>Fanta is a sweet, shy girl. She loves playing with the dogs in her fosters home. She loves toys, Especially the squeaky kind! Fanta has fun chasing around the yard with all the other dogs!<br/><br/>Fanta loves to lay on your lap or beside you for naps!! She will roll over on her back so her belly can be rubbed. She sleeps in a doggy bed beside the big bed.<br/><br/>Fanta eats really fast so a slow feeder is best for her.<br/><br/>Love dachshunds and not ready to adopt or circumstances won&#39;t permit having a dog? How about being a sponsor or making a donation. Every one of our dachshunds receives excellent medical care along with day to day food, love and housing. Being non-profit, we rely on generous individuals like yourselves to help save these fur babies. All contributions are tax deductable.<br/><br/>Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.
