Faith's Story

Faith is a young pittie mix puppy with a gentle heart and so much potential. Born around December 15, she had a rough start to life, but despite that, she’s shown just how resilient and special she truly is. With the right family, Faith is going to grow into an absolutely amazing companion.

Faith is around 24 lbs right now and does well with other dogs and cats and would especially enjoy a home with friendly, well-balanced dogs who can help guide her without being overly dominant. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for her so she can safely run, play, and burn off her puppy energy while building confidence.

Because of her early experiences, Faith will thrive with a family committed to continuing her confidence-building and socialization through routine, positive experiences, and gentle exposure to the world around her. She’s sweet, sensitive, and eager to learn, and she blossoms with patience and consistency.

Faith would do best in a home with children ages 8 and older who can respect her space and help her feel safe as she continues to grow.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving puppy who just needs the right guidance and a little extra understanding, Faith may be the perfect fit for your family. She’s ready for her fresh start—could it be with you?

If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application . Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet!

The adoption fee of $350 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!

*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
