Faith's Story

Welcome to rescue Faith!

Faith is an approximately 6-year-old sweetheart who has recently settled into her foster home near Buffalo, NY after retiring from life as a breeding mama. She's already showing everyone just how gentle, affectionate, and special she is.

Faith is wonderful with her foster family—she greets you happily when you come home but keeps all four paws on the floor. She loves attention and is a classic “leaner,” always happy to be close to her people (and yes... she may try to claim your bed as her own!).

She does well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion in her forever home. Even better—Faith has grown up with cats. (Yes, that is a kitten lounging on her in the picture!)

Faith is housebroken, rides nicely in the car, and handles stairs with ease. She's learning basic skills like leash walking and is already responding to “sit” and “no.” She's still getting comfortable being left alone and would do best in a home where someone is around more often or committed to helping her build confidence over time.

Faith is starting to settle into a routine, enjoying her meals, and learning how to just be a dog—and it's been a joy to watch her personality bloom.

Faith's ideal home:
A patient, loving home that will continue to build her confidence and give her all the affection she craves. A friendly dog is at the top of her wish list. And, most of all, Faith is looking for people to call her own.

** Want to send this dog a gift? When you purchase a bib or bandana from our store with the code 4FOSTER they will receive it. The rescue receives the profit from the sale and the foster dog receives a gift!

When purchasing for a specific dog, please include that note in the comments.

Or, purchase one for yourself!

Link for Bibs

https://nationalnewfoundlandrescue.com/product-category/bib/

Link for Bandanas

https://nationalnewfoundlandrescue.com/product-category/bandanas/
