After spending much of her early life as a mill momma—raising multiple litters of puppies—Fable has been retired from breeding and is now ready for a life that’s finally all about her.<br/><br/>She was adopted and settling into a loving home when, tragically, her owner passed away unexpectedly. Through no fault of her own, Fable found herself back in rescue, once again waiting for the stability she so deserves.<br/><br/>She has lived in several environments, including farm settings and family homes, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the world beyond the mill. At her core, Fable is a true Aussie: she wants deeply to do the right thing, watches her people closely for guidance, and thrives with reassurance, patience, and routine.<br/><br/>Fable adores cozy comforts and loves snuggling on the couch, but she also finds comfort in her crate and will often choose it on her own when she needs a quiet break. She is good on leash, though busy or overstimulating situations can sometimes feel overwhelming. When that happens, she may display classic Aussie herding behaviors—soft, looping circles as she tries to “organize” her surroundings. This is instinctive, not aggressive, and simply part of how she processes the world.<br/><br/>Fable would do especially well in a home with other dogs, where she can take cues, feel grounded, and enjoy companionship.
