Meet Evie from the Land Rover litter, one of six puppies who came to us with their mom, Honor, after a family in El Cajon who couldn't keep them. Thanks to fosters, we were able to step in to help.<br/><br/>She's about 12 weeks old now and weighs 7 pounds, the smallest of the litter, and we're estimating she'll grow into somewhere around 22 to 27 pounds as an adult, though that's an estimate.<br/><br/> She's what we think is a lab / cocker spaniel mix, black with just a touch of white on her chest and a reddish brown wash of color across the back of her neck, and she's got a habit that makes her whole foster home laugh, stopping mid stride to check herself out in any mirror she passes, like she already knows she's the best looking one in the bunch.<br/><br/>Evie is calm and gentle by nature, independent enough that she could do well as an only dog, and playful without ever being frantic about it.
