Everest (Evie)'s Story
Everest (Evie for short) is a fun-loving, compact sized "Husky", but we have DNA results confirming she is a "Pomsky". Super friendly and sweet, only 29 lbs, stands about knee high, but acts like a Husky (most of the time).

She has been great at training new things, loving new adventures, and learning routines and expectations. But she really needs a furry friend to share her fun with. We don't have a lot of her history, but it is VERY apparent that she was with other dogs, and will thrive with a friend. She is friendly with everyone she meets! (Sometimes over friendly).

Loves toys and attention, actually plays fetch (which is NOT normal for a Husky). Still learning leash and greeting manners, but gets so excited, she will need reminded.

She has been tested with cats, "ok", but workable...but has shown she may have “prey-drive”, as a lot of Huskies do, so not a great fit for a home with cats, birds, or other really small animals.

She is kennel and crate trained, and has been potty-trained, but will need to get to know your home routine. She knows “sit”, “down” (for lay down), “off”, and “wait”. She pulls on the leash at first (excited to go somewhere!!!), but will mellow when reminded and rewarded.

She is a very friendly girl, but also very energetic, so we are seeking a home with another dog for play, as well as expelling some of her husky energy. When she sees another dog she screams out of excitement. She will need a yard to safely run and play in. She is currently being fostered in a home with no other animals.

If you have any interest, or would like to get more info about her, or would like to meet her, she is being fostered We are fostered in Central Point, Oregon and could schedule a "Meet -n-greet".

Please email goliathmountainrescue@gmail.com with questions or complete an application at goliathmountainrescue.org
