*EVEREST's Story

Everest is a striking Shepherd x Husky mix with unique heterochromia and an even more beautiful personality. He is, quite simply, a total love bug. Everest lives for affection. Start petting him and he will happily melt into you, sometimes quite literally trust-falling into your lap. His favorite place to be is right by your side, soaking up attention and companionship. He is one of our easiest dogs to walk, enjoys treats, and takes them gently. Overall, he is a wonderfully sweet and people-oriented dog who just wants to be close to his humans. Everest can be somewhat reactive toward other dogs, so he may do best as the spoiled only dog in the home. That said, if you already have a dog and are interested in Everest, you are welcome to bring your pup to your scheduled appointment for a guided dog-to-dog introduction. Schedule an appointment to meet Everest at yoloshelter.org/dogs or email adopt@yoloshelter.org
