What is Simple Girl Doggie Haven’s adoption process?

1.) Submit an Adoption Application at https://www.sgdhrescue.dog 2.) Adoption counselors will review applications for potential best fits 3.) Vet check is performed 4.) Applicant is contacted and interviewed over the phone 5.) Home Check is Conducted 6.) Meet with potential adopters and current dogs in the home 7.) Adoption!! All doggies are vaccinated age appropriately, spayed/neutered, on flea tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and microchipped. We do not require a fenced yard (excluding case specific dogs) . However you must have a plan to keep your doggie safe and contained which can include an electric fence. All breeds listed are estimated and we hold no guarantee that if DNA tested, they will come back with the same breeds as listed. We require all doggies be kept on heartworm prevention year round for their entire lives after being adopted. We do not allow force training (prong, shock, choke, or pinch collars etc).
