Everest's Story

Picked up off of Hobgood Rd in Rougemont. Was very friendly at pickup and during intake. 4/9 Body score. Does have a collar but no one in area knew where he belonged.3/8/26 Was picked up on Hobgood rd. after fighting Ms. Trivets dog over a female in heat dog has blood and puncture wounds around neck and chin area and has a limp on back right leg as well as something protruding under the skin doesn't seem painful to the touch but has some trouble walking on it BCS 4/9 wearing a leather collar and very friendly.Granville County Animal Shelter<br/>919-693-6749<br/>animal.shelter@granvillecounty.org

We ask that you have a veterinarian appointment scheduled for your new pet for a wellness examine, microchip implant, and spay or neuter. You can not own any pets that are not currently spayed or neutered. You will need written permission from whom ever you rent or lease your home from that you are allowed to have that kind of animal you are adopting. We ask that all animals adopted from Granville County comply with all local, state, and federal animal related laws. We do not allow adopted dogs to be chained up outside.
