While the real Mount Everest is known for breathtaking views and extreme conditions, I am known for breathtaking fluff and extreme levels of sweetness. Honestly? Same vibe. Great Pyrenees mix. Professional heart-stealer. I came into rescue with my two siblings after we found ourselves hanging out at the shelter. As it turns out, some of my family were still out there freelancing too — including my mama, Sierra (yes, like the mountain range, we are very on-brand). But don’t worry. If there’s a calmer dog who prefers civilized interactions? I can match that too. Cats? In my foster home, I’ve done just fine with the cats. I’m curious, because I am a puppy and everything is fascinating, but I’m not out here trying to start a turf war. If they swish their tail and give me “the look,” I take the hint. I respect the claws. Children? Yes. I have met the tiny humans. Ages 3, 7, and 9, to be exact. And guess what? I have been a great puppy. I know. Try to contain your shock. With the 3-year-old, I am gentle and curious. I understand that they are small and occasionally unpredictable, much like squirrels but louder. With the 7 and 9-year-olds? Excellent playmates. I’ll run, I’ll bounce, I’ll supervise their outdoor activities like a fluffy foreman. <br/><br/>Energy level? Let’s call it a solid 7 out of 10. I am not a couch potato. I did not come here to be decorative. I enjoy playtime, yard adventures, romping with dog friends, and investigating very important things like leaves blowing across the grass. But I am also not a caffeine-fueled tornado who never powers down. After I’ve handled my business (zoomies, wrestling, light neighborhood surveillance), I am perfectly happy to crash dramatically on the floor like I’ve just completed a Himalayan expedition. So yes — I have pep. I have sparkle. I have “let’s go do something fun” energy. And then I have “I will now nap like a fluffy angel” energy. Adventure-seeker or homebody? I am a dynamic individual. I contain multitudes. Do I love to play? Absolutely. I will frolic. I will bounce. I will engage in highly important yard patrol missions. If there is an outing, a new place to sniff, or a game to be played, I am ready to clock in. I am intelligent, which means I thrive when you give me clear expectations. I’m not “stubborn.” I’m thoughtful. There’s a difference.
