Everest's Story

Everest IS AVAILABLE (updated 06-15-2026). To meet any of our dogs, complete our online adoption application on our website: http://www.coastalgsr.org/dogs/everest-1 Meet Everest - your new best friend! Everest is 10 months old and weighs approximately 60 pounds. He is a GSD mix but has the long lean body and limbs of a Doberman. Everest is 50% GSD but his 7% Doberman genes took charge and turned him into a long lean loving machine. He is a beautiful sleek black on top and has GSD coloring underneath. Everest has all of his puppy vaccinations , has been neutered, and is microchipped. He is also crate and potty trained. He is still working on his leash walking skills but does well with pack walks where he feels secure with his foster siblings. Ev is a sweet boy who can be a bit shy in new situations. He is in a foster home with young and older dogs and is very happy to be with them. He loves to play ball and will even bring it back to you! He loves squeaky toys and can keep himself entertained with them. He will toss them and play with them. He loves to lay on his back exposing his belly to the world. Ev can be a little shy around new people, but once he gets to know you, he will want to be your best friend. He would be fine by himself with an attentive family but would really do well with a family who has another young dog who likes to play. Everest would really be a great addition to any family. The minimum adoption donation is $375 for adults and $500 for puppies. This helps cover vet care, boarding fees, and other expenses. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
